: To recommend promotion to the following posts of the National Vigilance Police Service, there will be the following promotion committee at the center:-
(a) For the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Senior Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Inspector of Police:-
(1) Head of Center – President
(2) Representative, Gazetted First Class, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers – Member
(3) Deputy Inspector General of Police of the Center and if he is not himself, one of the Joint Secretaries working in the Center appointed by the Chief – Member Secretary
(b) For the post of Deputy Inspector of Police, Assistant Inspector of Police and Police Constable:-
(1) Joint Secretary or Deputy Inspector General of Police working at the center designated by the Chief - Chairman
(2) Central Superintendent of Police or Deputy Superintendent of Police appointed by the Chief – Member
(3) Deputy Secretary of the Center appointed by the Chief – Member Secretary
